Beaver, Ut

This morning Jerry and I were in a truck stop at Beaver, Utah. We were getting fuel and checking out our trucks to get started when Jerry found a bolt in his alternator broken. The fuel desk casher told us there was a parts house in town and how to find it. We went to the part house and found a place to park out back. The part store did not open until 8am and we were there around 7am so we started to look over the town. We found that Beaver is famous because that is where Butch Cassidy was born. When the parts man opened up the store I told him what we had found out about his town. His name is Howard Bradshaw and he said he would be 80 years young in October of this year. He also said his wife Laver was a Dean before they got married and that she is kin to Butch Cassidy. He is also kin to Philo Farnsworth who invented the tv. Philo also was born in Beaver.
Beaver had their 150yr celebration last year and Howard was the last speaker, he said that Beaver was known for two famous people and he was kin to the one who invented the tv and his wife was kin to the one with the colorful past. I though that was a good way to say you kin to an outlaw. He told us a true story about Butch Cassidy. Butch's aunt was about to loose her home to the bank and she told Butch about it. Butch gave her the money and told her to get a receipt for it which she did, then Butch robbed the banker and got his money back. This Howard said is true. Every one take care and have a great day.
